jewellery
my jewellery making & design process is rooted in the natural treasures of the Lyme Regis coast. i use two methods of jewellery making at present; silver clay, with which I am able to capture incredibly fine, organic details directly from the shoreline, before firing into solid fine silver. also the lost wax casting method, which allows for more sculptural exploration, where hand-carved wax models are transformed into durable metal through a traditional molten replacement process. i marry these two techniques with the rhythmic patterns of nature - specifically using the spiral geometry of ammonites and other coastal textures to create pieces that feel like wearable fragments of prehistoric history.
